Trading Risk Disclosure

The risks of trading and of automated or AI-assisted trading systems. Please read before acting.

Version 1.0 · Effective 2 October 2026 · Last updated 2 October 2026

This disclosure applies to all trading-related information, software, research, education and services from Quant HFT AI. Please read it carefully before acting on any trading-related information or using any trading software.

Trading involves significant risk

Trading in financial markets carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. This applies whether trades are placed manually or by automated software.

  • You can lose money. Losses can be rapid and, with some products, can exceed the amount you deposit.
  • Leverage magnifies outcomes. Where it is used, it increases potential losses as well as potential gains.
  • Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Automated and AI-assisted systems do not remove risk

Trading robots, algorithms and AI-assisted tools execute rules. They do not remove market risk, and they introduce risks of their own:

  • Model risk: a strategy may fail when market conditions change, or may be overfitted to historical data.
  • Technology risk: software defects, connectivity loss, platform outages, latency or data errors can cause unintended trades or missed exits.
  • Execution risk: slippage, trading costs, order rejections and liquidity gaps can make live results differ from expectations.
  • Operational risk: wrong settings or parameters, or unattended systems, can lead to losses.

Automated systems require ongoing human supervision. You remain responsible for monitoring them and stopping them when necessary.

Past, simulated and backtested results

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Simulated, hypothetical and backtested results have inherent limitations:

  • they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight;
  • they may not reflect actual trading costs, slippage or liquidity;
  • they do not involve financial risk.

No representation is made that any account or system will, or is likely to, achieve profits or losses similar to those shown in any test. Quant HFT AI does not publish trading performance claims. Any test results we prepare for a client are labelled as historical or simulated, together with their assumptions.

Not investment advice

Our software, research, education and website content are provided for general information, educational and technical purposes. They do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and are not personalised investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Consider seeking advice from an appropriately licensed professional before making trading decisions.

Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • deciding whether trading, and any particular strategy or system, is suitable for you;
  • choosing your trading platform and account, and the capital you put at risk;
  • configuring and reviewing risk settings;
  • complying with your platform provider’s terms and with all laws and regulations that apply to you.

Some products and services may be restricted or unavailable in your country.

No guarantees

Quant HFT AI does not guarantee profits, returns, performance or the avoidance of losses, and no employee or representative is authorised to make such a guarantee.
